ELA post continued

What this book really made me think was that there are many kinds of people, and girls aren't always the cooperative little wallflowers that we were made out to be. Luzie keeps her passion, parcour, hidden from her parents by lying about her injuries. She expects Leander of the Sky Patrol to be like your usual guardian angel, but he isn't. For instance, he isn't the stereotypical little boy with blond hair and blue eyes and a white dress. He looks like a relatively normal dude, only smaller. I think they both need to keep their character in check as they react to things like that, because the position in which they've been plaed is one in which they have to overcome those stereotypes. Also, this book made me know that not all relationships are going to work, no matter who you are. Luzie and her mom have a big disconnect when it comes to the color pink and make up. She and her dad also face challenges because she keeps the most important thing about herself hidden from him more than from anyone else.

Luzie und Leander

This Book is about a girl who can't stop risking her life for par our and her guardian angel, Leander. Leander believes that he is the only reason she is still alive. Luzie thinks she can manage by herself, thank you very much. Each one can't stand the other. When Leander quits his job as a Sky. patrol member, his father gives him the curse of a body, so that he can't fly any longer. And, what's more, he can't phisycally move too far away from Luzie... And then he does anyway. It's a great book because it made me feel like not only boys can do sports. It made me think about gender stereotypes, and it evoked emotions so far. We'll see if it stays that way!

Hello

The book I am currently burrowing my little nose into is called Luzie und Leander. It's about a girl who loves par our, and won't stop almost dying because of her constant stunts, and her guardian angel, who isn't the biggest fan of Luzie's actions. Fact, he quit the job as part of the high sorority of the Sky Patrol because having her to protect proved to be a never-ending exhaustion.
